Narek Martirosyan

Software Engineer, Mathematician

While serving as a Lead Data Scientist at an IT company, Narek developed algorithms in computer vision, visual odometry, natural language processing, information retrieval, statistical inference, and related fields, using both deep learning and classical methods.
Before focusing primarily on solving industrial problems, his diverse interdisciplinary research experience during and after his PhD studies led him to concentrate on teaching theoretical machine learning, with a strong emphasis on its statistical foundations.
Narek enjoys mastering new subjects and then sharing and explaining them to others. One of his key strengths is the ability to quickly grasp new information and achieve an expert-level understanding.
